heart to heart

i guess i must have been pretty irritatble the whole of last week, since i actually got frustrated with a couple of my friends. if you are reading this, i'm not going to apologise but instead i'll 'talk' to you here to let you know and understand.

my mum came up to me last evening and the conversation went like this.

"boy, its not that i'm a busybody but i just have to say this. if ever s wants to get back with you, i think you should not do it. for your own good."

"its not going to happen and even if she did, i'll not do it. why do you have to bring this up again?"

"its nothing, just that your aunt saw her at church. i know that you are a very soft-hearted person and you might give in if she ever looked you up again."

"well, i have already gotten over her and it will never happen for us again. it looks like you and many others are the ones that cannot get over her. i have already moved on."

"ok. thats good to hear."


if you are into teochew porridge, then i recommend you the cafe at quality hotel. they have this porridge buffet for 8.90 nett, from 6pm till 1am. if you went after 1130pm, you only pay 5.80 nett! the food is quite all right and there are close to 20 different types of dishes. they also have ice cream and desserts (make your own) like chendol and ice kachang. not too shabby at all.


time...
its not that i have no time these days. its just that time is pretty precious to me now. sometimes, its not that i have no time for others, just that i try to plan my time. i have had enough of dinners on my own or even wondering around town, all because my friends cannot make it. i don't expect them to all have time for me, anytime because they have their committments. but really, i have had enough of lonely dinners and watching movies by myself. you know what i mean? i'm sure everyone have gone down that path before and i bet you will not go back there again, if you can help it. same here...

a friend called me last week. he did not have internet access from his workplace so he got to download some pricelist for him and sent it to him. he is quite a close friend, but we seldom meet up.
now than, i think at least we all make an effort to make time. its good.
time...
its something which i have a lot of actually, and thats why i try to fill it up. when i do last minutes, i have to expect that things don't work out. maybe it should be the same.
