we were sailing along... on moonlight bay

i went to krabi for a short getaway with a few of my friends over the weekend. it was a beautiful place with the little island of phi phi being exceptionally so. the journey by ferry to and from the island was quite taxing but the great scenery all the way there more than made up for it. the sun and the sea, clear blue sea at that, really perked up the already tired senses. a great, and i must add, cheap, thai massage at the end of the whole trip really was the icing on the cake.

1 interesting thing to add. we actually went through 4 airports for this trip. we flew from changi t1 and landed at krabi airport. when we left, we took off from a brand new krabi international airport, which incidentally opened on the same day as our budget terminal. we, of course, landed in the new budget terminal back here in singapore, just its 2nd day in operation. therefore, we effectively went through 4 different airports.

the sea and the sight of sail boats made me thought about my sailing days of past. aaaaaaa...

'we were sailing along, on moonlight bay,
i can hear the voices singing...
(singing)
they seemed to say,
(what did they say)
you have stolen my heart,
don't go away,
as we sing this lone sweet, song by moonlight bay.'

i think this was roughly how it went, a song which we sang during my army days. used mainly during road marches and long journeys.
