old school rock and roll

i was cleaning up my room yesterday, and i came across some rather old stuff. at least 6 years ago, scripts, directions and what-nots. i sat myself down and looked at them and a smile slowly developed. those were pretty good times really. i'll try and see if i can dig up some more of my old scripts and maybe i can post them up here.


a few days ago, i read in the papers that guns n roses was coming to singapore for a concert. well, now that was a real flashback to way back. must be something like 1990 when i first heard them and it was my first introduction to heavy metal back then. they were a good band but always got into trouble due to their drug and alcohol problems. i presume they must have cleaned up their act since then, because they are still alive. no one could have survived this long if they were snorting drugs and downing alcohol like they did, till now. i saw some of their concerts on video and most of the time, they are already drunk when they came on stage.

anyway, it would not be the original band members coming, so i thought that it was kinda ironic to still call themselves guns n roses. but they were 1 of the best bands at that time. in fact, some of us even hoped that they were come in for a concert, but that was back then, more than 10 years ago. oh well...
